Southridge Mall in Greendale is hosting a wide range of holiday events for kids and families this year. Some are new, and others are annual favorites.
Santa’s giant chair has arrived in Center Court, and they’ve decked the shopping halls with merriment and seasonal decor.
Even the escalators are lined with twinkling lights and garlands.
It’s the quintissential backdrop for holiday shopping. Be sure to check out the brand new children’s clothing store, EverKid, owned by a local mother and daughter team.
Here are six holiday highlights for kids and families happening this year:
1. Visit Santa
Santa Claus is coming to Greendale to help capture magical holiday memories with family photo opportunities now through Christmas Eve.
His winter wonderland and giant chair are located on the lower level in Center Court.
He’ll be there most days in December from noon to 7:00 p.m. He’ll be taking breaks each day from 4:00-4:30 p.m.

2. Kids Corner: Holiday Sing Along with Will Branch
Kids Corner is a new offering from Southridge Mall. They’re hosting complimentary activities & events for kids throughout the year. Kids must be supervised.
On Saturday, December 11th from 11:00-11:45, there will be a Holiday Kid’s Sing Along with Will Branch from Fox & Branch. It will be located outside of Macy’s on the lower level.
They’re even expecting a visitor from the North Pole to stop in and say hello!

3. Pet Photo Night with Santa
Bring your well-behaved furry friend for photos with Santa on Wednesday December 8th from 8-9 p.m.
There will be a raffle and giveaways from Magpie’s Gourmet Dog Treats. All proceeds benefit Winston’s Wishes dog rescue organization helping local dogs though a foster program & rescue sanctuary.
Visiting pets must enter and exit through the Southeast Mall Entrance between JCPEnney and Macy’s. Santa is located in lower Center Court.

4. Sensory Santa
Southridge will be hosting a sensory-friendly experience before the mall opens on Sunday, December 12 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. for families to capture magical holiday photos with Santa.
Enter through the Southeast Mall Entrance (between JCPenney & Macy’s). Santa is located in lower Center Court.

5. Southridge Mall Family Train
Did you know you and your child can take a choo-choo train ride throughout the mall? The trackless train departs from the kids’ play area on the lower level in Center Court. The ride lasts about ten minutes.
The train runs Monday thru Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. It’s $6 per person. But 3 tickets and get the 4th free.
6. Holiday Entertainment
Come and enjoy live holiday entertainment throughout the month of December outside of Macy’s on the lower level. Here is the schedule:
