Mark your calendars! The Wisconsin premiere of Dog Man: The Musical is coming to the Marcus Performing Arts Center on May 3 and May 4, 2025.
Based on Dav Pilkey’s best-selling book series, this hilarious and heartwarming production promises a fun-filled adventure for audiences of all ages.
About the Show
Dog Man: The Musical follows the escapades of Dog Man, a crime-fighting canine with the head of a dog and the body of a policeman. Can Dog Man save the city from Flippy, the cyborg fish, and his army of Beasty Buildings? Can he outsmart Petey, the world’s most evil cat, and his mischievous clone? And will George and Harold finish their epic show before lunchtime? This musical blends memorable songs, clever humor, and a touching storyline that will resonate with both kids and adults.
Featuring a talented cast and an acclaimed creative team, the production has earned praise from critics and audiences alike. The New York Times called it “a howling good time,” and author Dav Pilkey described it as “the perfect mash-up of memorable music, humor, and love.”
