The Festival will showcase a diverse range of local, regional, and state-wide artists, along with art demonstrations, a kids art zone, live music, food trucks, a beer & wine garden, performing artists, street performers, vendors and a community art project.
The Festival, which originated as an art walk, has grown each year thanks to the support of local businesses, organizations, and dedicated volunteers like Stacie Estrada, owner of Art Lounge and current Co-Director of the Festival. Estrada began the art walk in 2021 when her family moved their business to Menomonee Falls from Sussex. At that time her “ intention was to transform Menomonee Falls Downtown into a place where artists and musicians can display and sell their talent while making the arts accessible to everyone”.
This free family-friendly event provides multiple opportunities for Menomonee Falls and the surrounding communities to engage in and be inspired by the arts by making the arts accessible to all through visual and performance art experiences.
In addition, The Art Guild of Menomonee Falls has teamed up with the Festival organizers to include their annual Art in the Park and Scholarship Auction. “A one day art party celebrating everything ART by embracing all art related businesses, organizations and clubs in our area is a dream that I have had since I started Art in the Park back in 2008” stated Terra Chmielewski, Founding President of the Art Guild of Menomonee Falls and current Co-Director of The Falls Festival of the Arts. The current President of the Art Guild, Don Eisenhauer, stated, “ I am thrilled to see our involvement with the Festival. With these two passionate leaders, Stacie and Terra at the helm of this ship, the Guild and the Arts in Menomonee Falls can only grow”
The Art Guild of Menomonee Falls, Falls Art@Large, The Village of Menomonee Falls, Menomonee Falls Downtown Inc. and Menomonee Falls Business Improvement District have all been instrumental in collaborating together for the success of the Falls Festival of the Arts.
Planned events leading up to the Festival include a Plein Air Painting Competition, Sculpture Painting Competition and a Murals & Mixers Trolley Tour.
Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this artistic celebration and experience the creativity of the local arts community in Menomonee Falls and the surrounding area.
