Tuesday, August 20 at 10:00am Cooking Independently (Ages 10-13) at the Milwaukee Public Market
Welcome Tween chefs, this camp is for you! We know kids this age are ready for a bit more responsibility and skill-building in the kitchen. They’re ready to master making their own fuel-filled breakfasts and after-school snacks. And what better way to show off their new skills than to make dinner for the family?! Join us for three days of learning to cook more independently!
What are we making?
– Day 1: Breakfast Masters – Homemade Blueberry Pancakes, Overnight Oats, Yogurt Parfaits with Fresh Fruit (Recipes contain dairy and gluten)
– Day 2: Snack Masters – Granola Energy Bites, Vegetable Pizza Triangles, Honey Mustard Ranch Dip with Chopped Vegetables (Recipes contain dairy and gluten)
– Day 3: Family Dinner Prep – Green Salad, Homemade Croutons, Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing, Make and Take Vegetable Enchilada Stack (Recipes contain dairy and gluten)
This workshop is open to tweens only (ages 10-13). This is a drop-off class. Tweens will be asked to respect our behavior expectations during class.
What’s included in the workshop ticket?
– Admission for 1 child (aged 10-13). Each participating child needs their own ticket.
– All tools and ingredients needed to make our recipes
– Two “eat here” recipes to try in class, and one “take home” recipe
– A fun and enriching experience for your tween chef!
* This camp runs August 20-22, from 10:00-11:30 am EACH DAY. Tweens must sign up for all three days. Contact the Milwaukee Public Market if there are any conflicts.
