Back to School Festival at King Community Center Milwaukee

Families with school-age children are invited to King Park for a free book-bag giveaway, as part of the “Unity in the Community” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Back to School Festival! The book bags will be filled with school supplies. Beginning at 11 a.m., wristbands for the bag giveaway will be distributed to youths on a first-come, first-served basis. Families can enjoy activities for the kids–including bounce houses–free food, youth talent showcases, music, dancing, and relay races. Bags will be handed out to children beginning at 2 pm, in exchange for their wristband. Limit one bag per student.
