Flight Day at Discovery World Features Flight Simulator; NASA Scientists

This Saturday, July 16th is Flight Day at Discovery World from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Kids and families can create their own paper airplane designs and test how well it flies inside of the museum.

Visitors can also pilot a virtual plane at the Flight Simulator and see how well they can fly through the Milwaukee sky.

Guests can also investigate the science of flight with Discovery World’s Bernoulli Table, suspending colorful spheres in the air to investigate how flight works.

They are also hosting a special live conversation with NASA’s Webb Space Telescope scientists to hear about the new images that will be released to the public the week of the event.

  • Session 1: 1:00pm-2:00pm CDT – This panel will be in Spanish featuring Spanish-speaking scientists. There will also be an ASL interpreter and captioning on the live stream.
  • Session 2: 2:30pm-3:30pm CDT – This panel will be in English featuring English-speaking scientists. There will also be an ASL interpreter and captioning on the live stream.
