The Traveling Beer Garden is back on in 2022.
Two restored fire trucks have been converted into mobile beer trucks that serve up craft brews from Milwaukee’s Sprecher Brewery.
The trucks travel around Milwaukee County Parks on two simultaneously running tours between May and September.
Sprecher offers an ever-changing selection of craft beer and hard sodas at each of the stops on the tour. Cider, wine, gluten-free options, food, and non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
The Traveling Beer Garden is run by Milwaukee County Parks concessions staff. All revenue collected goes back into improving the parks.
The 2022 schedule was announced March 18th.
Is the Traveling Beer Garden family friendly?
Absolutely. The beer gardens take place during the day in a park setting, often with playgrounds nearby.
The atmosphere is typically calm and joyful, with adults enjoying their beverages responsibly.
Kids and adults can enjoy food options, along with non-alcoholic beverages like root beer floats and craft sodas.
Is there food for sale at the Traveling Beer Garden?

“So many folks have been stuck within their homes for the past two years, and we know that throughout this pandemic, of which we’re seeing at the end of the tunnel right now, that so many people were utilizing their traveling beer gardens to connect with loved ones, families, and their neighbors,” said David Crowley, Milwaukee County Executive.
The traveling gardens are a large source of revenue for the Milwaukee County park system, generating almost four million dollars.
