Experience “Coco in Concert” at the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra

Families in southeastern Wisconsin have a special treat this November as the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO) brings Disney Pixar’s Coco to life in a unique and immersive way.

On Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3, the Bradley Symphony Center will host Coco in Concert, featuring a screening of the entire beloved film accompanied by a live performance of the score by the MSO.

This event offers a magical blend of cinema and live music, with the orchestra performing Michael Giacchino’s Oscar® and Grammy®-winning score.

In addition to the instrumental score, the performance will also highlight the iconic songs from the film, including the unforgettable “Remember Me,” written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the team behind Frozen’s music.

About the Movie

Disney Pixar’s Coco follows the story of Miguel, a young boy who dreams of becoming a musician despite his family’s long-standing ban on music. His passion leads him to the vibrant Land of the Dead, where he embarks on a journey filled with heart, humor, and music. As he uncovers his family’s hidden past, Miguel learns the importance of love, tradition, and memory.

This family-friendly film, with its rich cultural themes and stunning visuals, makes it a wonderful outing for audiences of all ages. The addition of live orchestration adds another layer of depth and excitement to the experience, bringing the music to life in a way that only a symphony can.
