This program is for current 3rd – 5th grade students. If you have attended a Candy Chemistry event before, please note that experiments will be the same as past events, but you are welcome to attend again!
MSOE professor Dr. Anne-Marie Nickel will be teaching a fun class on chemistry using candies of all kinds to explain topics such as sucrose, acids and bases. Professionals from Hydrite will be joining to help students complete their experiments.
With the event’s proximity to Halloween, we welcome costumes at this event! Please note when planning attire that students will need to be able to sit in a chair and use their hands.
