BAYSHORE is gearing up for the school year with its annual Back to School Fun Fest, presented by St. Francis Children’s Center.
This free, family-friendly event promises an afternoon filled with engaging activities and entertainment for kids of all ages.

Activities and Attractions: From 12:00 to 3:00 PM, the event will feature a variety of interactive stations and performances:
- Kid Boogie Down: A lively dance party that will get kids moving.
- Mad Science Fun Stations: Hands-on science activities that spark curiosity.
- Milwaukee Public Museum: Fossil and dinosaur exploration stations.
- Elite Sports Clubs: Bounce house fun for energetic kids.
- Petting Zoo: A chance for kids to meet and interact with friendly animals.
- Face Painting: Creative designs to brighten up the day.
- Instrument Discovery Zone: An opportunity for kids to explore different musical instruments.
- Giveaways: The first 500 kids will receive drawstring bags with flamingo and dinosaur designs.
Special Highlights:
- Free Showing of Rock Dog 3: Battle The Beat: After the fun fest, stay for a free screening of “Rock Dog 3: Battle The Beat” from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. This animated film follows musician Bodi on his quest to restore the legendary name of Angus Scattergood.

Calie Herbst, Editor-in-Chief of Milwaukee With Kids, has spent over a decade combining her experiences as a parent of three to create a hub for Milwaukee’s family adventures.
Her decade-long teaching career in Milwaukee Public Schools and academic background, including a Master’s in Teaching from Marquette University and dual B.A.s in Sociology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, fuel her passion for inclusive and engaging family content.
