Join us each month for Storytime with Ms. Megan, from Milwaukee Public Library. In this class, Ms. Megan will read stories, lead in songs, and finish with a Sensory Activity inspired by the monthly theme!
Storytime is designed for children ages 0-5. (Older siblings are always welcome!)
Bay View Community Center’s will also provide a FREE book for the first 15 families registered! Each month’s book ties to one of the Five Protective Factors for Families!

As we all know, parenting doesn’t come with a handbook. Gathering knowledge of parenting and child development through concrete supports can help families set safe boundaries and expectations, and aid in helping the entire family prepare for upcoming challenges. The Dad in “This Beach is Loud!” by Samantha Cotterill exemplifies a wealth of knowledge on parenting, helping his son navigate overwhelming sights, sounds and sensations at the beach.
