Science plus preschoolers! This hands-on program introduces our little friends to science with some fun, Little Sprouts flair.
This program meets on the 1st Monday of each month this summer, and we’ll combine age appropriate introductions to science with play time for your child. This program promotes critical thinking, communication skills, confidence building, and more! We’re excited to share our love of exploration with your little scientists.
Ideal ages : 2.5 – 5 years old (with caregiver, siblings welcome with their own tickets)
Some classes include swallowable materials – so use your judgement when signing up.
What’s included in Exploring Lab?
- Admission for 1 child (ages 2.5 – 5yrs) – includes playtime at Little Sprouts during class
- Community discussion of our experiment and materials
- Hands-on experiment setup
- Child-led experiment activation
- Experiment recipe card to take home
June 3: This month, we’re experimenting with SUN PRINTS – and we’re framing the prints!
July 1: This month, we’re experimenting with making our own ICE CREAM
August 5: This month, we’re experimenting with static – using crafted butterflies!
