One of Milwaukee’s beloved holiday traditions, the Miller Valley Holiday Lites, is returning this winter.
This drive-thru display offers families a magical way to soak in the festive spirit without leaving the warmth of their car.
Here’s everything you need to know to plan your visit:
Dates and Times
The Holiday Lites will brighten the Miller Valley from Friday, December 6, through Thursday, December 26, with shows running nightly from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
How to Experience the Lights
- Location: The display is located across from the historic Frederick Miller Plank Road Brewery at 3897 W. State Street.
- Tune In: Set your car radio to 91.1 FM to enjoy synchronized holiday music that adds an extra layer of magic to the experience.
- Stay Cozy: This is a drive-thru-only event, so you can enjoy the show from the comfort of your vehicle.
What’s New This Year
This year’s display features over a million energy-efficient LED lights, creating a dazzling winter wonderland.
While you’re there, consider stopping by the nearby Miller Visitor Center (4251 W. State St.) to pick up this season’s limited-edition Frederick Miller’s Chocolate Lager, available starting December 10.
A Tradition That Shines Bright
The Miller Valley Holiday Lites is a piece of Milwaukee history. Originally starting in the 1950s, the display took a hiatus during the energy crisis of the 1970s but was revived in 2004 to celebrate the brewery’s 150th anniversary.
Since then, it’s become a must-see event for families, friends, and holiday enthusiasts across the city.
