Held on Sunday afternoons, this event lets your little ones experience the thrill of Halloween without the scares. Kids will enjoy a guided tour through the attractions, with actors adding just a hint of spooky fun. Plus, they can Trick or Treat along the way!
Kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes to join in the excitement.
Novak Manor (All ages)

Located minutes from Milwaukee, Novak Manor offers a unique haunted house experience right at the Novak family residence. Every October, this 7,000-square-foot property transforms into a fully immersive haunt with live actors.
For younger kids or those seeking milder scares, they offer a “scare-free” version, perfect for families. The owners recommend arriving around 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. when it’s still light out and asking for the light version of the haunted house.
Not only does this haunt draw thousands of visitors, but it also gives back to the community by donating proceeds to local charities like Bikers Advocating Child Safety (BACS).
Old Falls Village Park – Little Park of Horrors
📍 Old Falls Village Park, Menomonee Falls
Recommended for ages 8+
Experience a spooky adventure at Old Falls Village Park’s Little Park of Horrors, the park’s first Halloween event for an older audience. Recommended for kids ages 8 and up, this guided walk through the dark, uneven forest trails and historical buildings features ghoulish characters and spooky decor, giving a hint of scare without the nightmares. Children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (21+), and strollers are not recommended.
Start your walk at 6 p.m. to get the full eerie effect after sunset, and enjoy food and beverages available from 5 p.m. Tickets are $10, supporting the Friends of Old Falls Village Park.
Ghostly Garden Walk (All Ages)
📍 Norwich between 5th and 6th Streets, Milwaukee, WI

Hosted by the Garden District Neighborhood Association and led by 13th District Alderman Scott Spiker, the Ghostly Garden Walk is a family-friendly Halloween event perfect for young trick-or-treaters. This fun, spooky walk begins on the bricks on Norwich Avenue between 5th and 6th Streets and features a trick-or-treat tunnel and an optional craft activity at the gazebo. Adding to the seasonal excitement, a Haunted Mansion display will be available to visit until November 2nd.
