Jurassic Quest: A Dino-Sized Adventure Arrives in Milwaukee January 2025

Take a step back in time with your family as Jurassic Quest, America’s largest dinosaur experience, comes to the Milwaukee area in January.

This event transports guests of all ages through 165 million years of prehistoric history, allowing visitors to explore life-sized replicas of dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods.

With exhibits, interactive experiences, and exciting activities, Jurassic Quest offers a fun and educational journey for kids and families.

  • Saturday, January 4, 2025 (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
  • Sunday, January 5, 2025 (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

  • Wisconsin State Fair Expo Center, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis, WI

What to Expect:

  • Life-Size Dinosaurs
    Encounter a scientifically accurate “herd” of dinosaurs, including the mighty T. rex, the towering Spinosaurus, and many lesser-known species. Each dinosaur is designed with meticulous attention to detail, showcasing up-to-date scientific knowledge.
  • Hands-On Activities & Attractions
    Kids can ride on the back of a dinosaur, bounce in inflatable attractions, and play in the “Triceratots” soft play area designed especially for younger explorers.
  • Dino Training & Live Shows
    New for 2025, families can enjoy the interactive Raptor Training Experience, where you’ll see these incredible creatures in action. Throughout the day, live shows offer even more chances to engage with prehistoric life.
  • Meet Baby Dinosaurs
    The popular baby dinosaur meet-and-greet returns, featuring fan favorites like Cammie the Camarasaurus, Tyson the T-Rex, and Trixie the Triceratops. Kids can pet and interact with these adorable, life-like dinos.
  • Fossil Digs & Real Artifacts
    Aspiring paleontologists can dig for fossils and examine real artifacts like T-Rex teeth and triceratops horns, giving them a firsthand look at history.
  • Self-Guided Scavenger Hunt
    Take on “The Quest,” a scavenger hunt activity that guides kids through various exhibits, allowing them to learn about each dinosaur’s era and behavior.

Important Details:

  • Tickets
    Advance tickets are available now, with timed entry slots to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Guests may stay as long as they like once they enter. All guests aged 2 and up require a ticket; children under 2 are free. Ticket add-ons like face painting and green-screen photos are available for purchase on-site.
  • Timing & Admission
    Arrival times are staggered to manage crowd flow, but once inside, families are welcome to stay until the event closes. Last entry is permitted one hour before closing each day.
