Trick-or-Treat on Downer Avenue

From Park to Webster, businesses along Historic Downer Avenue will be handing out trick-or-treat goodies for kids andadults! Dress in your best costume and stroll down the avenue, filling your bags with treats from local merchants.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Check out the incredible pumpkin carvings from Downer merchants, who will be competing for your vote! Cast your ballot at the Downer BID tent in front of Nehring’s Sendik’s and you’ll be entered to win amazing prizes from local businesses. Don’t forget to admire the creativity that goes into these pumpkin masterpieces!

Boswell Books will host two exciting book events during Haunted Halloween:

  • 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM: Meet Silvia Acevedo, contributor to The Haunted States of America.
  • 3:00 PM: Join Geo Rutherford for a look at her book Spooky Lakes: 25 Strange and Mysterious Lakes That Dot Our Planet.
