New Halloween Village in Downtown Milwaukee: A Spooky, Fun-Filled Adventure for Families

Downtown Milwaukee just got a little spookier!

Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21 has unveiled a brand-new Halloween Village at Baird Community Commons, and it’s here to delight families through October 31st.

What You’ll Find at Halloween Village

Located at the Baird Center (400 W. Wisconsin Ave.), Halloween Village is an interactive outdoor light display that offers unfrightful fun for kids of all ages.

And for those who love witches, there are two—one riding her broom.

The best part? It’s free! Halloween Village is open to the public and will remain lit throughout both day and night, so you can visit whenever it’s convenient for your family.

Jack O Lantern Jubilee

Halloween Village is one part of the festive offerings at Baird Community Commons.

On Saturday, October 26th, the Halloween fun continues with Milwaukee Downtown’s 3rd annual Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee, also presented by Baird.

This pumpkin palooza runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and it’s packed with hands-on activities and Halloween entertainment, ideal for children ages 2–8. The first 400 families to arrive can even snag a free pumpkin to decorate, courtesy of Pick ‘n Save, Metro Market, and Kroger Delivery.

Don’t forget your costumes, because trick-or-treat goodie bags will be handed out while supplies last, and there will be plenty of chances to take fun, festive pictures!

The event will also feature live entertainment, face painting, balloon art, storytime sessions, and even fire engine exploration with the Milwaukee Fire Department. And if all that pumpkin fun works up an appetite, treats will be available for purchase on-site.
