If you’ve got a tween or teen who’s outgrown the kids’ concert circuit but isn’t quite ready to go solo to a big show, we’ve got you covered. Summer in Wisconsin means music under the stars, and this year’s concert lineup is full of shows that are perfect for sharing with your kids—without being totally cringey (we promise). 😉
Here are 5 concerts that are fun, parent-approved, and just cool enough for your kids to be seen at:
1. Coldplay
July 19 | Camp Randall Stadium, Madison
Big anthems, wild visuals, and lots of glowing lights—Coldplay puts on a show that feels like a full-body experience. Perfect for kids who love a big moment (and maybe already have “Yellow” on their playlist).

2. The Avett Brothers
June 26 | BMO Pavilion, Milwaukee (Summerfest)
Folk-rock meets heartfelt lyrics and high energy. It’s a great intro to live music for kids who are into acoustic vibes or want something a little different than Top 40.
📹 We also took our kids to Blue Ox Music Festival (where the Avett Brothers have headlined before!)—watch our Instagram Reel for a look at the experience.
3. Benson Boone
July 3 | American Family Insurance Amphitheater, Milwaukee (Summerfest)
You’ve probably heard his songs floating around TikTok and on the radio, and he’s got a loyal teen following. This one will definitely earn you cool points.
4. The Lumineers
July 5 | American Family Insurance Amphitheater, Milwaukee (Summerfest)
Feel-good indie rock with sing-along choruses and major campfire vibes. It’s one of those shows the whole family can enjoy together—and might even spark some car karaoke on the way home.
5. The Killers
June 27 | American Family Insurance Amphitheater, Milwaukee (Summerfest)
Get ready to belt out “Mr. Brightside” with a crowd of thousands. The Killers are a cross-generational favorite, and their live show is full of energy. A solid pick for older kids and teens.
