Join us for a special sensory-friendly project at We Rock the Spectrum – Pewaukee!
We know firsthand that sometimes kids with specific sensory processing needs can have a harder time enjoying certain projects. So, we are thrilled to announce our first project planned with sensory needs in mind.
We want ALL kids to gain confidence by lending a little hand, so we’re inviting members* with kids who have sensory needs to sign up first. If you aren’t sure if you should sign up, please reach out and we’ll share as much about our plans for the project as possible.
We will be sending out a social story to let you know what to expect, but upon arrival families will have the opportunity to work on a project for a portion of the event, as well as the option to play in the sensory friendly gym space with other SBK families for a discounted admission fee (this will be paid to WRTS; they will be closed to he public).
Based on capacity we will first be open to SBK member families who have children with sensory needs and have had a challenge attending other projects. We will be sharing detailed information about what to expect on the day of the project as well as working to be sensory friendly throughout the project. Thank you!
