May 18th from 1pm-4pm at Joyce’s House Education Center 5601 W North Ave Milwaukee, WI – Lilac building on the corner
Join us at the Pages & Friends Little Free Library Stewards Meet-Up in Milwaukee for a book-themed party like no other! Whether you’re a seasoned steward or looking to start your own little free library, this event is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow book lovers, share ideas, and get inspired.
At the meet-up, you can learn how to set up and showcase your little free library on the registry, ensuring it reaches more readers in your community. Get hands-on with DIY book-themed crafts at our creative stations, bring a book to swap at our book exchange area, and be one of the first 10 attendees to receive 10 books to kickstart your own library collection. For added fun, we’ll have a bounce house, face painting, food trucks serving up tasty treats, and a cozy reading nook complete with bean bags and blankets.
Test your literary knowledge with a book-themed trivia game or join a literary scavenger hunt for a chance to win prizes. Share your success stories, discuss challenges, and brainstorm ideas for promoting literacy in your area with like-minded stewards. Indulge in refreshments inspired by classic literary works, from tea party treats a la Alice in Wonderland to other delightful surprises.
This event promises to be a celebration of books, creativity, and community spirit. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect and collaborate with fellow book enthusiasts at the Pages & Friends Little Free Library Stewards Meet-Up!
