Girls in Aviation Day is an event that happens around the world in September, and there’s an annual event at the Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport put on by the Women in Aviation-SE Wisconsin Chapter.
The event will include simulators, a behind-the-scenes look at the airport, airplanes to check out, and pilots and other aviation professionals to talk to.
It is a fun day where kids get to explore various aviation careers and activities and are surrounded by positive female role models.
NOTE: Pre-registration is required, and registration closes on September 26 at noon. Space is limited.
