10 Best Campgrounds With Water Parks in Wisconsin (2024)

Looking for a great place to camp this summer with kids?

Whether you’re a seasoned outdoor family, or it’s your first time camping, these campgrounds and RV parks offer plenty of family fun for all ages.

The most popular weekends for family camping are Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend, but these Wisconsin campgrounds are available throughout the summer.

1. Jellystone Park Camp Resort – Caledonia

Jellystone Park is a family camp resort where you can stay in a cabin, campsite, or RV and participate in a wide variety of activities.

There’s an outdoor swimming pool where your kids can play water basketball and swim their hearts out.

The Activity Pool is located in their Water Zone, next to Yogi’s Picnic Splash. There are fast twisting water slides, sprayers, a dump bucket, and more. 

Head over to Bear Paw Beach, a 3 acre man-made, white sand lake where you’ll find a giant jumping pillow, playground, and the largest inflatable water obstacle course in the United States. 

The jumping pillow is a large, inflatable mound that bounces when you jump on it, similar to a trampoline, but with gently sloping edges. 

Besides water activities, there are other fun things to do, including an 18-hole miniature golf course, fishing ponds, an action zone with archery, inflatables, and an RC track, pedal karts, a laser tag course, an outdoor theater, an arcade, and more.

Don’t miss the Northern Lights Drone Show! Kids of all ages a will love this free light show where 50 illuminated and synchronized drones dance in the sky above Bear Paw Beach.


2. Oasis Campground and Waterpark

Oasis Campground and Waterpark is another option for family camping where you can rent a cabin and a golf cart.

Relax in the heated pool, sandy beach, or jump around the Wibit Inflatable Waterpark and jumping pillow.

You can also take advantage of recreational opportunities like beach volleyball courts, gaga ball, and horseshoes. Enjoy themed weekends and ATV Trail access, plus ride the train and fire truck.

Pets are welcome, and there’s even a dog park. 


3. Harbor Village

Harbor Village Campground and Water Park sits on 300 acres in Door County, and has a variety of family campsites to choose from with water and electricity at each one.

The water park has two 350-foot slides, and there is also a jump pillow, a swimming pool, a hot tub, a beach, a nature trail, and a fishing pond.

You can also get active on the tennis courts, basketball court, RC Race Track, playground, arcade, and mini golf course. 

Every weekend has a theme with family-oriented scheduled activities.


4. Jellystone Park – Wisconsin Dells

Jellystone Park in the Wisconsin Dells offers a variety of lodging options, including water and electric campsites, retro cabins, and luxury yerts.

There are outdoor pools and water playgrounds that the whole family will love, plus a snack bar, poolside bar, boat rentals, mini golf, game rooms, a fully stocked camping store, golf cart rentals, wagon rides, basketball courts, sand volleyball and horseshoes.

Laundry facilities, clean restrooms, and dump stations will help make your camping experience go smoothly.

You’ll also be in close proximity to all that the “Waterpark Capital of the World” offers, including area attractions like Noah’s Ark, Tom Foolery’s Adventure Park, and Timbavati Wildlife Park.


5. Mt Olympus Camp Resort

Mt. Olympus Camp Resort is one of the most popular Wisconsin Dells campgrounds, offering a variety of tent sites and cabin rentals, with easy access to bathroom and shower facilities. Your stay includes access to their giant indoor waterpark and theme park.

The tent sites include a picnic table, fire ring, and basic wi-fi. Or you can opt for a cabin with bunk beds, air conditioning, a flat screen television, refrigerator, and microwave, also with a picnic table and fire ring. Some cabins have bathrooms, as well.

The Wisconsin Dells is known as the “Water Park Capital of the World” and there’s plenty to do within just a few minutes drive of the campground and resort.


6. Jellystone Park Warrens

Jellystone’s location in Warrens, Wisconsin is set in the middle of the cranberry bogs with plenty of natural beauty. There are tent sites, cabins with heating and air conditioning (some with a kitchen and bathroom), and hundreds of RV sites available.

The waterpark has a 6-lane thrilling waterslide, a lazy river, a wave pool, and more. 

Other activities include mini-golf, arts and crafts, fishing, gaga ball, tether ball, foot pool, baseball, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, playgrounds train rides, nature trails, pedal carts, and an outdoor theatre.

To make your stay even more enjoyable, there’s an on-site restaurant, homemade ice cream, free wi-fi, and laundry facilities.


7. River Bend RV Resort

River Bend RV Resort is a campground and RV park with an 8,000-square-foot water park with two large slides over 300 feet long, a kiddie pool, an outdoor whirlpool, a heated pool, and a poolside Tiki bar. There is also a swimming lake with a large WIBIT and a jumping pillow.

Enjoy the onsite restaurant, a camp store, miniature golf, a boat launch with canoes, baseball, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, a play area with jungle gyms and swing sets, bikes and tricycles, golf cart rentals, and RC tracks. 

All campsites include water and electricity, wi-fi access, picnic tables, and fire pits.

Jellystone Park in Fremont is situated on Lake Partridge in the heart of Waupaca County, just minutes from the Wolf River. Partridge Lake is shallow and reedy, perfect for fishing for bluegill, perch, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and more.

They offer campsites and tent sites, rustic camping cabins, and full service cottages. 

There’s a Poolside Cafe, a General Store, a swimming pool with Bear-a-Cuda Water Slide, three playgrounds, horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball court, boat rentals, nature trails, and more.


9. River’s Edge Campground

You’ll have river access for boating and swimming. There’s also a WIBIT pond with lounge chairs and concessions, a heated swimming pool and jumping pillow, and an Aqua Park play area.

Located in the New Richmond Somerset area, Apple River has been around for decades, offering camping, river tubing or tanking, waterslides, a swimming pool, mini-golf, and more.

Tubing down the Apple River takes about three hours, and kids under 12 must wear a life preserver.

Accommodations include tent camping, cabins, and RV sites.


11. Pineland Camping

13. Champion Riverside Resort

This campground has a 1.5-acre pond with inflatable floating climbing structures.


Emrick Lake Campground

Oxford, WI

This campground recently added 300 campsites in addition to adding a 20,000-square-foot restaurant and bar. They also have a private 38-acre lake with paddle boats and kayaks as well as a swimming pond the size of a football field with a 90-foot-long inflatable slide and a set of inflatable floating climbing structures.

The park also features 7,000 square-feet of indoor recreation space for children and another 7,000-square-feet of indoor recreation space for adults.
