The Village of Wauwatosa transforms into a European-style market, where charming chalets and festive booths offer handcrafted goods, delicious treats, and holiday cheer. Check out the Markt’s full schedule for live music and entertainment, as well as specialty workshops, where you can indulge your hobbies and learn something new, like exploring Amaryllis Bulbs with Aromatic Acres or creating a seasonal Charcuterie Board with The Village Cheese Shop. This family-friendly event will gift you lifelong memories with those you love most. Admission and parking are free!
Feeling competitive? Join us on Friday and Saturday nights for Steinholding contests and Hammerschlagen Tournaments. These traditional German contests will test your accuracy, strength and are always an audience favorite.
Parking:
We encourage markt attendees to park in the Hart Park parking lot and follow the Wonderlight Walk that begins just south of the Muellner Building in Hart Park and follows the Oak Leaf Trail along the river. Enjoy beautiful light displays and the warm glow of twinkling lights as you stroll through the parkway – it’ll take you right to the Christkindlmarkt! This experience is new for 2024!

Additional parking is available in the Harwood Ave lot (behind the Little Red Store and across from the Harts Mills Lot) or the Blanchard Street lots.
